Now here is s great little, very basic, quaint little hideaway in plain sight directly sat at the side of the main road. It's outside looks can deceive the humble cozey atmosphere within. It provideas a great stop off ahead of a long journey or a quick bite for family and friends on a road trip or just that quick lunch on the way. There is plenty of seating but beware it can get somewhat crowded during lunch times. The menu boasts of various traditional English breakfasts which will most certainly leave anyone filled at a reasonable price. There is a small outhouse style toilet at the outside of the premises which could get a bit nippy during colder months of the year. All in all it's a great little place to visit if you should pass by, give it a try.
Absolutely gorgeous. Proper English breakfast. Get stuck in.
Visited this lovely little cafe last week on my lunch break. I have to say that the value for money was great, I had a full English breakfast and it cost less than 10er. Also the service was excellent. Very surprised it was empty, well worth a visit on your way through A23, 5 stars for me
It’s rare you find places like these these days. Amazing proper food, friendly stuff, awesome vibes!
Firstly the chef didn't want our order at half1 for a 22 pound order I'd stay, then as order was written wrong by the young lad always on his phone. And shaaking his hair behind the vounter no hair band or net. Hygiene is a main issues for me tables needed cleaning wrong breakfast was given, staff had to keep being told and we didn't feel the service was at a good standard. I will not be going back there Staff need to be trained about customer service/hygiene and the place needs a revamp a little worn down and dull... I thought I'd give it a try as I was told it was nice. I'm experienced cook I love my food and I don't like being put of my food I'd suggest experienced staff with food hygiene and a little revamp and clear signs on what time your open and closed. Good luck with it as i heard you say you couldnt buy a customer this morning so offered a bit of help via investment, revamp and nicer more welcoming staff.
good food £10 full english breakfast and choice of coffee/tea. very nice service, interesting atmosphere. the toilet looks terrible from the outside, but it is clean, with paper, water and a working hand dryer. I recommend !
Delicious food, generous portions and friendly service in a nice atmosphere. Everything you could want from a proper caff!
My breakfast definitely lived up to the name 'the full monty' it was huge. On top of 2 fried toast it had a massive piece of bread with toast that I couldn't finish. I ordered bubble on top which was also good.
